Atelier North is the working practice of a British contemporary artist creating layered abstract paintings for private and public spaces.
Each work begins with a physical memory: a wall, a horizon, a room once occupied.
Built slowly through oil, pigment, graphite and cold wax, the surfaces hold evidence of revision. Marks are made, removed and allowed to remain.
The studio works with collectors, designers and galleries internationally. Visits are available by appointment.
